I am an experienced, certified family nurse practitioner with a diverse career background.  Despite my family nurse practitioner certification, most of my career I have worked in the inpatient setting.  I did pulmonary critical care for almost 7 years at a level one trauma center and served as our team’s “ECMO champion”.  I did a brief stint in family practice and then accepted a position back at the level one trauma center as lead provider over the inpatient COPD service.  I have clinical responsibilities with the COPD population to bring them up to current GOLD 2018 treatment guidelines with the end goal of preventing/reducing 30 day readmission rates.  I also serve on an administrative level COPD “core” team which has been created to replicate our COPD care and processes across all of our sister hospitals.  I recently achieved fellowship status with the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP).
