APAPP (and APRT’s) Featured in CHEST Journal

In 2023 the Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers (APAPP) helped the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) with a study about the role of Advanced Practice Respiratory Therapists (APRT). An article was just published in the January 2025 issue of the CHEST Journal describing that study. APAPP is honored to be mentioned in the article along with a citation about the number of our members who contributed study responses.
“NAPPs who specialize in the care of patients with cardiopulmonary diseases have organized a membership association (www.pulmapp.com) offering an annual conference, journal club, blog, and podcasts. Standing up the Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers seems to signal the need for supplemental cardiopulmonary education for these providers.”
