Program Summary
Join Fernando J. Martinez, MD and Corinne R. Young, MSN, FNP-C, FCCP and stay on track to fulfill your CME requirements from the comfort of your home. Utilizing an interactive, moderator-led format, this program will present discussions with national thought leaders to help you hone your skills in the diagnosis and management of patients you are likely to encounter in your practice. PAH at Follow-up – For the Patients Who Don’t Achieve Low Risk

  • Review the diagnostic workup for patients with suspected PAH
  • Discuss initial therapy in PAH, including selecting patients for newer fixed-dose combination therapy
  • Incorporate guideline- and evidenced-based approaches to adjusting therapies in patients with PAH not achieving low-risk status
  • Review the landscape of emerging agents for PAH, noting mechanistic targets and available clinical data

Advancing COPD Care: Applying Latest Guidance in Clinical Practice

  • Review the relationship between inflammation, exacerbation, and disease progression in COPD noting the underlying pathophysiology
  • Discuss recent evidence surrounding the use of biologic agents in the management of patients with COPD, including patient populations and outcomes
  • Integrate the use of biologic agents into the management of patients with COPD based on guidelines and clinical evidence for new and emerging agents
